Ten Student Room Hacks
At the Nest Milan Apartments students have all of the essentials they will need during their exchange in Milan. We make sure you get the freedom & space required to stay comfortable & productive during your studies.
However, we suggest you make the place your own & bring a bit of home with you…For this you can definitely get crafty & amp up your room or apartment while staying within your ideal budget.
Here’s how to maximise your space & have the best experience possible!
- lighting is everything:- Get yourself some lights & lamps. Ambient or colourful to make it cozy and make the space feel automatically bigger.
- plenty of removable hooks- Hooks can help you build up more storage space by adding them on to doors or your wardrobe. This way you don’t have to completely limit your fashion shopping.
- make it green:- Add some greenery! & if you can’t keep a plant alive (like me) get some indoor ones or even fake plants! These are some of the Plant Shops In Milan we suggest.
- study pin board- This one can be used in multiple ways: study board, workout board; cooking schedule. The idea is to keep you organised & motivated to stay on track!
- Look for house ornaments- Books, rugs, mugs; coin holders. It does’t have to be big or expensive!
- scented candles- We have all had that one roommate that might not be the best at cooking…buy some candles, scented oils or even better…wax candle melts, these will last you a lot longer.
- put up photos / postcards- Frame them or put them on your doors & windows. This can be a cute way to keep memories of your living abroad experience.
- get smart with storage- That means: boxes under your bed or suitcases on wardrobes.
- throw cushions ON your bed- The more the merrier, get them colourful & fluffy!
- upgrade your bedding- And the most important of them all… sleep. The way you rest and recover after a night out is key. Find the more suitable linens for you: The Cheapest Place For Linens.
